Narvana's Story
Type of Foster Home:
Narvana is an 1-year-old Shepherd puppy that needs some special TLC in the home. Narvana is about 23 pounds. She has been losing weight and would benefit from being monitored while eating. Narvana is a super sweet pup that would love a break from the shelter. She would do best as the only dog in the home for now.
How to Foster Narvana:
New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and completing the Foster Care Application. Veteran foster parents can email acfoster@pawschicago.org to schedule a pickup appointment.
Narvana is available for foster pick-up through our Medical Center at 3516 W. 26th St.

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:
1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!
2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!
