Get ready to fall in love with handsome Hawk and his most adorable smile! Hawk is a pretty chill guy who enjoys cuddling and going for walks, and he is okay if you step out while he stays at home in bed. Hawk would do well as an only dog or with a playful dog sibling to wrestle with. Hawk is scared of elevators, so he'd prefer taking the stairs (he looks at it as helping you get your steps in).

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.
Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Adoption Process
All PAWS Chicago dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have up-to-date shots based on age and arrival date.
