Paleta's Story
The more we get to know Paleta, the more we fall in love with her. She is a little gal with the biggest ears you have ever seen. She is still a puppy and learning the ropes, however, she does do well when home alone or with visits from the dog walker. She is still trying to figure out if she likes canine or feline friends, but with time and patience she could improve. Her dream is to have her own yard to run around and play in, so a home with a private yard would be ideal for her.

Meet Paleta
We’re teaming up with one of our veterinary partners, Mars Pet Care, for the 16th Annual Mars Pet Adoption Weekend on Friday, October 11th to Sunday, October 13th.. Adoption fees will be covered for select pets and all adopters will go home with a Mars Pet Care starter kit. Please note that the $100 training fee is applicable to all dogs and is due at the time of adoption. Please complete all three steps below for our animals in foster!
If you are interested in adopting this pet, there are a few steps you must complete before scheduling an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center:
- Please start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they are a good fit for your home.
- After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
- Finally, complete our Foster Pet Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and, if they have next steps, reach out within a few days.
