TROOPS AND GROUPS WELCOME!
Join us at 10:30 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month for a tour of our Lincoln Park Adoption Center (1997 N Clybourn Ave, Chicago, IL 60614). On this tour, we start with a presentation where kids get a chance to learn about PAWS Chicago, our mission, and caring for dogs and cats both in the shelter and at home. Then you’ll get introduced to some of our animals and will have the opportunity to socialize with them! Around 11 a.m., once the adoption center opens to the public, you’ll be able to go on a self-guided tour throughout our building visiting both Kitty City and Dog Town. Approximate length of time: 1 hour.
This is a perfect opportunity for Scout troops, school groups, families, and kids to get a first-hand look at what it means to give homeless pets a second chance.
Please note:
Tours are for kids ages 5–12
All kids must be accompanied by an adult (age 18+)
There must be ONE (1) adult chaperone for every FOUR (4) children
