Dominique's Story

Type of Foster Home:

Dominique is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix. She is a high energy gal that would love a break from the shelter. She is dog social and could go with a resident dog. She can be in a home with children 8 and older. She needs daily training, enrichment, and physical exercise while she settles into a foster home. She is very loving and eager to please people!

How to Foster Dominique:

New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and completing the Foster Care Application. Veteran foster parents can email acfoster@pawschicago.org to schedule a pickup appointment.

Dominique is available for foster pick-up at our Adoption Center at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave.

Meet Dominique

Dominique can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
