Ciabatta's Story

Ciabatta is a young and playful pup hoping to find her forever home with you! Ciabatta is excited to play with other dogs, but can be a little shy in new situations, so could possibly benefit from a calm and confident doggy sibling that could teach her how to be a confident pup herself, especially if there are stairs involved!

Ciabatta loves her food and treats, and is easily directed, so positive reinforcement training will be super easy, and as she’s so good natured, it will be easy-peasy helping this young, enthusiastic pup learn about fitting into her new home.

Are you Ciabatta’s new family? If you’re willing to be a little patient and happy to take things fairly slow, this sweet young dog can quickly become part of your family, so come and check out this lovely girl, she’s ready to bring the fun to you!

Meet Ciabatta

Join us on May 25th, from 6-9 pm for an IN-PERSON PUP-UP Adoption Event at the Lincoln Park Adoption Center. This is a one-night-only chance to meet some of the amazing dogs living in foster homes right now! Only selected dogs (with the PUP-UP Banner) will be participating in this special adoption event.

Things to know about this event:

  • Make an appointment for the Foster PUP-UP here.
  • Please be sure to complete your ComPETibility quiz and adoption application before the event.
  • The dogs with the "Pup-Up" banner will be a part of this event. Please be sure to check their ComPETibility ratings against your own for great matches.
  • The event is first-come, first-serve for applicants who meet all adoption requirements and are a match for the selected animal.
  • The entire household must be present for the event to ensure that the dog is the right fit for the person/family.
    • Please note that many of these wonderful dogs would do best in homes without young children.
  • If you have a resident dog, it is required to bring them along to meet the potential new canine family member!
  • If you are interested in other animals not participating in this event, please make an adoption appointment to visit the Lincoln Park Adoption Center another time.

Regular adoption fees and a $100 refundable training deposit still apply.

Adoption Process

All PAWS Chicago dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have up-to-date shots based on age and arrival date.
