Maddie's Story

Maddie loves to stretch out on the couch with her people. Give her belly rubs and she will give you back kisses! She enjoys playing with her toys. She can be a bit of a ball hog – holding one ball in her mouth as she goes after another! She loves to chew on nylabones and methodically deconstruct every squeaker toy she is presented with!

Maddie is sweet and loving to her people. When being introduced to new people, she appreciates a slower approach combined with high value treats! For her daily walks, she prefers calmer environments. When company arrives, she is happy to get some “me time” in her crate.

A home with a yard, or in a quiet neighborhood will be a haven for this affectionate girl. Her people would be a family of adults and teenage children who are willing to help her expand her horizons. She will happily share the couch with them!

Meet Maddie

Maddie can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
