If days full of puppy dog eyes, constant entertainment, and just a little bit of mischief sound like a plan to you, a puppy might be your perfect match! You’ll get to see them enjoy all of the new things that the world has to offer and build a lifelong bond with them through training and adventure. Puppies need time, energy, and patience to help them become the best family pets they can be, so if you’re up for a bit of a challenge—and a lot of fun—a puppy is the one for you!
Meet Pokey
Join us for our Spring Adopt-A-Thon from May 3rd-11th at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center (1997 N. Clybourn Ave)! We will be extending our hours and adding appointments to help many homeless pets find their families this spring. All animals with the "Spring AAT" banner will be at our adoption center ready to meet you! Please note that the adoption fee still applies.
If you are interested in adopting this pet, there are a few steps you must complete before scheduling an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center:
- Please start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they are a good fit for your home.
- After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
- Finally, schedule an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center! During your appointment, you will be able to meet all currently-adoptable animals at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center.
Adoption Process
All PAWS Chicago dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have up-to-date shots based on age and arrival date.
