Azure's Story

Type of Foster Home:

Azure is a shy kitty who is in need of a foster home! He is 3 years old and loves treats. Azure is looking for a home that can provide patience and space. He has been very fearful in the shelter and takes medication for anxiety. He would do best in a home with children aged 8 and up and can be carefully introduced to resident pets. He can’t wait to meet you!

How to Foster Azure:

New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and completing the Foster Care Application. Veteran foster parents can email acfoster@pawschicago.org to schedule a pickup appointment.

Azure is available for foster pick-up at our Adoption Center at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave.

Meet Azure

Azure can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
