Agatha's Story

Type of Foster Home:

Agatha is a 6-year-old cat that is looking for a foster home transfer by June 27th! She is very shy girl who requires a quiet, calm environment for a few weeks. She'd do best separated from resident pets until she is comfortable in the new environment and then could potentially be slowly introduced. She'd do best with adults only or with older children in the home.

How to Foster Agatha:

New fosters can take the first step by learning about fostering and completing the Foster Care Application. Veteran foster parents can email foster@pawschicago.org to schedule a pickup appointment.

Agatha is available for foster pick-up at our Adoption Center at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave.

Meet Agatha

Agatha can’t wait to meet you!

If you’re interested in adopting this pet, please complete the following steps:

1. Start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they’re a good fit for your home. Your ComPETibility Score will help you compare your home to each pet’s needs!

2. After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.

3. After finishing the adoption application, complete the Adoption Inquiry Form! Once this form is submitted, our Adoption Team will take a look at your adoption inquiry and reach out within a few days.

Please note that while we can’t place holds on adoptable animals for your scheduled appointment, there are always plenty of homeless pets looking for a home! If you don’t meet the perfect pet, please feel free to complete a new Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our Adoption Center. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are recommended for a more efficient visit!

Want another way to spend time with our adoptable (or soon-to-be-adoptable) pets? Consider fostering.
