Milo's Story

Meet Milo – a senior, sleek beauty with a big personality. Milo is both mischievous and affectionate, eager for adventure as much as chin scratches. Despite being older, he enjoys chasing crinkly toys and stuffed mice and can skillfully bat bottle caps like a professional soccer player. He also loves a sunny windowsill where he can relax and watch birds. When he is ready, he will give headbutts and slow blinks to his trusted human to show his deep bond, then happily curl up in their lap where he’ll purr up a storm. Milo is very sensitive to loud noises and would benefit from having a private space to regain his pre-startle composure. Being an elder gentleman, he also needs a monthly treatment to manage joint pain.

Milo will thrive with a patient, experienced cat-person living in an adult-only, pet-free, quiet home. The ideal adopter would be ready to support him while he acclimates to his new environment and then provide structure, consistency and a safe, private space for Milo to reset if he becomes overwhelmed. After building trust with him, Milo will show himself to be a playful, confident and loving cat.
