Give with a Donor-Advised Fund

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a simple and efficient way to support PAWS Chicago's mission.

When you contribute through a DAF, you maximize your philanthropic impact while enjoying favorable tax benefits.

How a Donor-Advised Fund Works:

  1. Establish Your Fund: Open a DAF account through a sponsoring organization, such as a financial institution or community foundation.
  2. Make a Contribution: Contribute to your DAF with cash, stock, or other assets, often receiving an immediate tax deduction.
  3. Recommend a Grant to PAWS Chicago: From your fund, recommend a grant to PAWS Chicago. You can make a one-time contribution or set up recurring grants. You can use the DAF Direct form below to directly connect to your account. 
    • Select the sponsoring organization from the “Donate now from” field.
    • Enter the amount you would like to recommend.
    • Click on the “NEXT” button to proceed to the sponsoring organization’s website to complete your transaction. Please note, you will be directed to an external website to complete your transaction.
