Guardian Angels Planned Giving Society

Leave a legacy to the animals you love.

Planned gifts ensure that PAWS Chicago can continue to save the lives of homeless pets for years to come.

Guardian Angels are dedicated friends of PAWS Chicago who have committed to leaving a legacy of financial support through a bequest or other planned gift arrangement. Including PAWS Chicago in your estate planning will mean shelter, food, veterinary care, medication and loving new homes for homeless animals long after your lifetime.

If you have included PAWS Chicago in your estate plans but have not yet notified us, please email or call 773-475-4242. We want to be able to include you in our Guardian Angel activities, including our annual luncheon.

Guardian Angel Pet Care Program

Have you ever asked yourself, “Who will care for my pets if I no longer can?” PAWS Chicago’s Guardian Angel Pet Care Program may be the answer.

The Guardian Angel Pet Care Program is designed to give peace of mind to PAWS Chicago supporters who are concerned about what will happen to their pets should something happen to them. By making a planned gift and working with PAWS Chicago representatives to enroll their pets in this program, our Guardian Angels know their pets have safety nets and will find loving homes through PAWS Chicago’s adoption program.

In addition to providing for their own pets, these Guardian Angels help other at-risk homeless cats and dogs by financially supporting PAWS Chicago’s important lifesaving work.

To find out more about this program, email or call 773-475-4242.

All unrestricted gifts received through a planned gift are placed into our sustainability fund. This ensures that today’s lifesaving programs are safeguarded for the future. Over time, these funds will help us continue our mission to save homeless pets at risk, spay or neuter pets of families who could not otherwise afford it, educate children about animals and continue our awareness initiatives.

There are many opportunities to name programs for individuals or families who wish to leave a significant balance of their estate to PAWS Chicago for a specific purpose. Each program has a different funding need. Please call Meg Damato at 773-697-5207 or email to discuss your goals.
