Events - PAWS Chicago hosts several adoption events throughout the year and often needs fosters who can provide a short-term home to cats, dogs, kittens and puppies in advance of these events. Event fosters provide a loving home to these pets and coordinate with PAWS team members to arrange animal drop-off at the event site.
By fostering a homeless pet, you are enabling us to have more space at the shelter to take in more animals. There are hundreds of puppies and kittens sitting at the city pound awaiting their fate. The more animals we can take in, the more lives we can save.
