Meet the overly photogenic, McCollum! McCollum is a doggy supermodel who can make anyone fall in love with him just by looking at them with his big, doe eyes. His striking merle coat and adorable perky ears ensure that every photo taken of him is as perfect as can be! McCollum arrived here at PAWS when he was just a young pup and it didn’t take long for him to find a home. Sadly, his owners returned him after spending four months in the home when they realized they could not provide him the care he needed. McCollum came back with his spirits broken, but with some much-needed TLC and tons of affection from the staff and volunteers here at PAWS, it didn’t take long for McCollum’s personality to come alive! McCollum is an energetic working dog who loves being on the go and learning all that he can! He enjoys training and has a passion for play time too. He would love to be spoiled with toys and treats in his new forever home!
McCollum would love to find a home with an owner who has had experience with working dogs in the past or someone who is looking for an active companion to train with and go on adventures with! Since he does have a lot of puppy tendencies and can get a bit jumpy and mouthy when he’s excited, he would do best in a home without young children. Although McCollum does have lots of puppy quirks, he is a very special boy who is a total goofball and he is looking for someone who can continue his training in the future. He is such a loving boy who wants nothing more than to find someone to show him lots of love in return. McCollum is currently enjoying time away from the shelter in a foster home, so please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more on how you can meet him! If his pictures weren’t enough to make you fall in love with this cutie, his personality is bound to win you over!

Adoption is one of the best ways to save a life. Only a few thousand more adoptions each year in Chicago, a city of millions of people, and we will be a No Kill community! You can make a real difference.
At PAWS Chicago, we keep working to grow our operations to save more homeless pets. It's how we've gone from saving a few dozen to 6,000 pets a year. But it is our adopters who make the real magic happen by bringing these loving pets home. Adopt a pet and spread the word!
