Hello, I'm Bermuda
Things are going good! We changed his name while we were at Paws, to Mowgli (from the Jungle Book) :)
Bermuda's Story
We do training once a week at Petco. He can sit, shake, lay, plays fetch and returns the toy, and understands his name and the 'come' command. We haven't mastered all of those when he wants to play outside with other dogs, but baby steps! He hasn't had an accident inside since the first week we got him. He's incredibly smart, but I'm sure all puppy parents say/think that about their own.
His best friends at the dog park are typically the Golden Retrievers and a specific little golden puppy named Nash. He loves to chew on them when he wrestles. And his favorite toys are his squeaky sock ball and his elk antler.
A couple adorable things he likes to do:
- He's an amazing morning cuddler. He loves to grab a toy, come towards my lap, turn opposite of me and wiggle into my lap backwards. He just sits in my lap and chews on his toys, but he's getting big so not sure how much longer he'll fit. :(
- One of the hilarious things he does- He likes to play, what we call, 'Tiger Pounce'. Our apartment is at the end of the hallway. When we get off the elevator, he likes us to go to the end where our apt it is, while he sits at the elevator and waits. When we get to our door, he walks towards us reeeeeeally slowly, like a tiger about to pounce. Once we say 'GO!', he runs really fast towards us pretending to pounce and then sits at our feet for a treat.
