Tuna's Story

Meet Tuna! Tuna is a gorgeous 9-year-old feline who is hoping to find that special someone who will scoop her up and make her theirs forever! She was originally adopted from PAWS as a young kitty and after moving all the way to Oregon with her family and spending 8 years in the home, she recently turned up as a stray. One of our dedicated volunteers got on a flight to Oregon and made the trip back with Tuna so she could have a second chance at finding a forever home! This sweetheart has clearly been through a lot and she deserves the chance to spend her days watching birds fly past the window, pouncing on toy mice, and relaxing as much as possible! She hopes that her adoption day is right around the corner, so she can do all of these things and more! If you feel like you can provide her with the home she's always dreamed of having, then pay her a visit at the Lincoln Park Adoption Center today!

Why Adopt?

Adoption is one of the best ways to save a life. Only a few thousand more adoptions each year in Chicago, a city of millions of people, and we will be a No Kill community! You can make a real difference.

At PAWS Chicago, we keep working to grow our operations to save more homeless pets. It's how we've gone from saving a few dozen to 6,000 pets a year. But it is our adopters who make the real magic happen by bringing these loving pets home. Adopt a pet and spread the word!
