Starbuck has been getting more and more playful as she settles in & we try different toys.
They've been to the vet twice now, for their initial checkup (all clear) and this morning to finish up their boosters. We're still working on the slow process of getting them used to one another. Until recently, getting that close resulted in Starbuck hissing a little and Baltar laying on his back, cooing, wanting to play. She's finally mellowing out a bit, and he's learning to be a little bit more chill when approaching her.
The biggest improvement actually happened when we had him in his carrier (which he loves) and let her roam free around him, coming nearer to investigate at her own pace. We just had Starbuck's claws trimmed yesterday, so tonight we're planning to have them in the same room, each with someone holding & petting them, and see how that goes!
