Cleo's Story

Meet Cleo! She is one pretty kitty! With gorgeous markings, you’re sure to get lost looking into her beautiful green eyes.   Cleo was recently returned after spending two months in a home because it wasn’t a perfect fit for their household.  Now she’s relaxing in a nice foster home while she awaits to find her forever home. Cleo’s foster mom says she’s a playful and affectionate girl who loves to chase strings around the house! She’s also getting some good use out of her vertical scratching post. When she was at the shelter, she loved hanging out on her perch and playing with her favorite stuffed purple mouse.  Sweet Cleo seems to know just how beautiful she is and she uses her amazingly good looks to her advantage to receive all the affection she possibly can!  Does your home have room for this cute little lady?

Pretty Cleo would do best with an experienced owner who will be able to recognize when she’s had enough pets for the time being since she can sometimes get a bit overstimulated. She loves to play so so much and tends to get a bit excited, so she would do best in a home without any young children.  Since she is a young girl and has lots of energy she would love to engage in daily, structured play sessions to help expend her energy in a positive manner!  We know that with a patient and attentive owner, Cleo will be one very happy girl!  We’d love for Cleo to find an amazing human buddy to call her very best friend!  Want to meet this cutie in person? She’s currently in foster care, but you can contact PAWS Chicago to learn how you can meet this sweetheart at adoptions@pawschicago.org.

Why Adopt?

Adoption is one of the best ways to save a life. Only a few thousand more adoptions each year in Chicago, a city of millions of people, and we will be a No Kill community! You can make a real difference.

At PAWS Chicago, we keep working to grow our operations to save more homeless pets. It's how we've gone from saving a few dozen to 6,000 pets a year. But it is our adopters who make the real magic happen by bringing these loving pets home. Adopt a pet and spread the word!
