Romper's Story
We've kept his name Romper since he seemed to respond better to that than our alternatives. It's been a great transition period, Romper loves the comfort of a home and responds well when we ask him to sit, stay, and to other commands. He hasn't had his official obedience courses yet but we are already signed up at our local Petco and plan to attend sometime within the next few weeks after my schedule is less crazy with. I got lucky and have a walker who is extremely passionate about dog training and has been so helpful with teaching me ways to identify Rompers triggers. He is still dog selective, but there's been times in a low stress and neutral environment where he has been able to happily get along with another dog. He responds well to my voice and his progress is showing more each day.
