Dusty's Story
I Just wanted to take a few moments to respond to your email in regards to our new furry friend! We did change his name - we went with Dusty. Dusty is getting along fantastically with the 2 of us and he is having a great time exploring and getting accustomed to his new home. We love his talkative mornings, and his snuggly evenings. He goes to mom for quality curl-up time, and he loves to have play-time with dad! We feel blessed to have such a fantastic buddy in our lives. He definitely got a little too curious with the bath last week, and slipped in. It was very funny, and surprisingly he reacted very calmly (albeit he looked a bit confused). He’s gone back for a few checks on the tub situation, so maybe in a former life he lived on a fishing boat! Now that it’s getting brighter and warmer out, I’ll be opening up the blinds so I’m sure he’ll enjoy sitting and looking out the windows. I’m counting down the days until our bird visitors start coming frequenting the bird feeder. Naturally, Dusty will have no idea why he sees birds and can’t get to them! All in all, we are in love with our new family member and look forward to many, many happy years and a lifetime of memories. We would like to thank all of you at PAWS for being so awesome. I’ve been to PAWS a few times over the years as other family members have adopted cats, so I was already accustomed to everything, but this was Brittney’s first time there. She absolutely loved it. The hardest part was leaving with just one new friend!
