Yodellee would love to meet you!
When you adopt a cat or dog who is a part of PAWS Chicago's Featured 5 program, you will receive:
Say hello to Yodellee! Yodellee is an adorable boy who arrived at PAWS from another shelter in Tennessee. With only his left eye and a skin condition that left hairless patches scattered amongst his body, Yodellee was not quite what one would consider a ‘looker’. On top of this, Yodellee had gingivitis and a prior traumatic experience that left him with a limp in his hind legs. Albeit his hardships, Yodellee is a friendly, loving dog who would benefit from continued training and care. The extended periods of time he spent in shelters have made Yodellee a bit anxious, but with TLC, attention and treats he is able to settle down.
Yodellee’s ideal home would include experienced, adults-only family who will be patient with him as he adjusts to his new environment. He would prefer to soak up all the attention from his new and loving forever family as the only pet in the home. Some of his favorite things include soft chew toys, playing fetch with a nice yellow tennis ball, and trotting alongside his human buddies. One thing that Yodellee absolutely loves to do is go for walks! He is confident when walking on a leash and holds his head up high as he struts his stuff through the neighborhood. He also knows a few basic commands and is willing to work for a nice reward! This beautiful soul has so much love to give and is hoping someone will give him the chance to do just that. If you think you’re the right fit for this adorable boy, then stop by and meet him today!
- I'm a great walking partner and can go for miles.
- I'm a people person!
- Did someone say 'treat'? I'll take them all!
- You + a tennis ball = my perfect day.
- I'll take as much exercise as I can get!
- I'd love to find an adults-only home.
- I prefer to be the only pet in the home.
- I'd prefer a home where I don't have to share my food or toys.
