Victoria's Story
Thank you for the follow up, and here are a couple of photos to share! I’m remembering that we were told « a tired dog is a good dog », as evidenced here.Victoria came home with us on June 14 and she is a delight! The first night we put a fleece blanket on the floor for her next to our bed and she understood immediately that it was her bed and she sleeps there every night. It took her all of about 48 hours to settle in and be comfortable with us. She’s a sweetheart - very affectionate with both my husband and me, and everyone she meets is her best friend.In addition to lots of love and belly rubs, she gets a couple of 1-to-2 mile walks every day, and last week was our first trip to the Whalon Lake dog park. So fun to see her run and play off-leash!We are so grateful to PAWS Chicago for your good work, and especially for introducing us to Victoria (we call her Torey).Thank you many many times over!Lindsey and David
