Snowy's Story

Thank you for assisting us to adopt Snowy, now known as Maisel.

We already love her so much and cannot imagine our home without her. We feel so thankful we were able to adopt her and have her become part of her family, as I know there are so many loving homes out there. She is adjusting well and our resident dog, Quarter has done a great job with helping her build confidence and to not be so anxious. Her personality is blooming day by day and we are going to do everything possible to assist her in living her best doggy life.

I am so thankful for everyone at PAWS.  You do not just impact animals lives, you impact so many humans by allowing them to have the joy of having a pet in their home and love in their heart for that animal.

I have attached a few pictures of Maisel relaxing at home and of course giving her famous kisses!

December 2020 update:  Maisel is the biggest cuddle bug!  I am so glad she is a part of the family because I can always be the recipient of her kisses. She loves being by her big brother Quarter, who has taught her the art of napping and walking confidently throughout the neighborhood to meet neighbors and receive treats.

Maisel loves playing with her pile of toys but she also loves going in the closet and taking shoes, and then placing them all over the house. She chewed up a CPL book and was very proud of herself. I am not sure the librarians are going to believe me when I tell them my dog chewed up a book!

Last night was the first night Maisel ever asked to sleep in the bed with us and we allowed her;.  I woke up with her cuddled into the side of me with one paw resting on my arm. It was a very special moment for all of us.  Maisel gets the morning, afternoon and evening "sillies."

It has been so much fun to watch her personality blossom over these past couple of months!
