Hello, I'm Samoa

All in all she is an absolute joy to be with and has brought a lot happiness to us.

Samoa's Story

She is now named Samoa and has no idea that is the case.  She is doing amazingly great with potty training and I do not recall any accidents in the house in the last week.  We are good at taking her out often, and she also has a few signs of when she needs to go. One of which is now going to the door.  I am impressed with her ability to learn this as well as the word No and Sit already.  She is very needy and must be at one of our sides at all times, usually mine and Vicki wants more puppy time.  She loves being on the couch with us and on the 3rd day at home she was tired of waiting on me to eat my lunch at the table.  She bit into my slipper and dragged me to the sofa so we could get back to the all too important lounging time.  She does not bark too much but does make some silly sounds.  She will try to answer you from time to time when you speak to her, she is a quirky lil pooch and that fits right in with the two of us.  She sleeps in a crate without a fuss and if I drag it out in the living room and leave the door open, she will hang out there a little bit.  I haven't done this in over a week as crate training seemed unwarranted.

All in all she is an absolute joy to be with and has brought a lot happiness to us.  Being that we cannot eat on the couch in front of the TV anymore she also has Vicki and I eating at our dining room table which previously was used 3 times in the 15 months we have had it.  She is extremely happy here and while there are a lot of obstacles to overcome with her being outside and such, we know it is just a matter of time and effort to get her comfortable with it all.  We couldn't be more pleased with our new gal and have zero regrets with our decision.
