Hello, I'm Powder Puff
She really is quite a delight and we've fallen in love with her.
Powder Puff's Story
Scout (previously Powder-Puff) is doing really well! She was a bit shy and skittish at first, but has warmed up pretty quickly. She and our dog Boomer get along really well and have become cuddle buddies. Scout is still a little scared of her walks at night, but we're working with her to try and build up that confidence and she's learning to sit with the help of bits of string cheese which she seems to enjoy.
Scout seems like she's about 90%ish house-broken already..... which was a very welcome discovery. She did have one small accident the night that the Cubs won the World Series, but I think we can attribute that to the VAST amount of sensory stimuli that was going on outside.
She's quite the cuddler and is more than perfectly content to spend the day burrowed into a blanket on the couch, but will get a streak of energy and hop from the couch, to a nearby chair, look out the window and dart back to the couch to burrow again. She really is quite a delight and we've fallen in love with her.
