Hello, I'm Mindy

Our home has infinite love to give to dogs of all shapes and sizes and Tonks can really tell that she's going to get spoiled rotten here.

Mindy's Story

Thanks for checking in. Things are going quite well. We renamed her to Tonks after the character in Harry Potter who is known for her bravery, intelligence, and extreme clumsiness. These all sum our Tonks up perfectly. She's extremely smart but horribly clumsy. For a while, she couldn't figure out how to get off the couch so she would slide to the floor on her belly and them tumble over. We've already taught Tonks how to sit and she's doing very well with it!

She's getting along with everyone in the house extremely well. Zoe, her fur-sister, absolutely adores her. They love wrestling together and playing tug with a strip of sheepskin I have for them.  Tonks also gets along with myself and my fiancee, Sarah, quite well. We both love snuggling her and playing fetch in the back courtyard. Tonks has a particular affinity for anything ball-shaped so she has a plethora of toys to entertain herself with and is now part of Zoe's monthly BarkBox plan! She has already figured out what the box looks like and is beyond excited when I bring it inside.

The best part of adopting Tonks is having TWO wiggly tails around the apartment. Both dogs love each other and it's amazing to have a second snuggle buddy. Our home has infinite love to give to dogs of all shapes and sizes and Tonks can really tell that she's going to get spoiled rotten here.

We signed her up for training at the PAWS center. Our orientation is on Saturday. We're all very exited to get to know her in a new way and help establish that bond and build trust. I'm sure she will do extremely well given that kind of direction and I can't wait to watch her blossom.
