Meet Jay

Big Love

Jay is one of the animals who will be participating in the Big Love Adoption Event this Saturday July 20th and Sunday July 21st from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center at 1997 North Clybourn Ave., in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Jay's Story

Meet Jay! Our smart 1- year-old Shepherd who is on the search for her forever home. She may not be a German Shepherd, but that didn’t stop this brilliant pup from learning commands in German from a previous trainer. Jay is a little slow to warm up to people, but her curiosity (and the help of some tasty treats) will have her happy and friendly in no time. Jay would do best with a family that can provide her consistent structure, boundaries, and exercise.

Jay will thrive in an active household without any cats or children under the age of 15. Since she is a rockstar with learning tricks, an experienced higher level training household would be great for teaching her some new skills. Jay would love being in an active family that loves to be outdoors as much as she does.

Adoption Process

All PAWS Chicago dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have up-to-date on shots based on age and arrival date.
