Hello, I'm Java
Stella (orig. Java) is such a polite, patient, smart and fun dog. I have gotten her a few jackets to wear, I would say that Stella is the most stylish dog in Lakeview! (pictures will be included below).
Java's Story
Thanks for checking in with us. I did end up changing Java's name to Stella.
So far Stella is doing amazing! She has fully adjusted to life with me and I love every minute with her. We have a set walking and food schedule. I can tell Stella is similar to me, we both enjoy routine! She is very sweet to other dogs. She has made a few friends in the neighborhood that we see often during daily walks. Stella had a lot of anxiety regarding cars/crossing streets. However, she has made tremendous progress to overcome her fear. I’m so proud of her! She adapts quickly. Now she is comfortable going on walks (the garbage truck still freaks her out a bit haha).
Stella is an angel. She doesn’t make any noise at all. The first time she barked was the 3rd day. The cause of her barking was my dishwasher! But after a few minutes she was used to it. Definitely made me laugh. One day Stella jumped on my bed (I think she was scared of it the first two weeks). However, after the first time she jumped on my bed, it has become her favorite spot of the house! She sleeps in bed with me every single night! She is a heavy sleeper, so it works perfectly. My favorite part of each day is getting to snuggle up with her and relax.
Stella has made my life so much more bright. I’m blessed that I was able to adopt her. I love her gentle demeanor and how appreciative she is of the little moments we share together, such as a belly rub. She’s such a polite, patient, smart and fun dog.
