Izzie's Story
We kept her name, as we didn't know it was a temporary name given by PAWS when we were fostering her for the first 4 weeks and she responded so well to it. She is finally barking! (when she is happy and when she knows we are taking her out for a walk). We were a bit worried since she was so quiet the first few weeks here, that we'd never hear a peep out of her! She loves to snuggle under the blankets when we are watching tv and she loves all types of treats (crunchy, soft, greenies, etc). We have taught her to wait on the front door rug and give us each of her paws (when we say "Paw!") after coming into the house each time so that we can baby-wipe them from the dirty city sidewalks. Zero accidents in the house to date! :)
