Grits's Story
Grits has recently got a haircut. We were quite hesitant at first because we didn't know how he would interact with the dog groomers. They said he did fine which was a sigh of relief because I think he looks pretty handsome with short hair! Though, I do hope it grows back by the fall/winter so he's not too cold. We have been trying hard to get him to interact with other family members like my brother and his wife but Grits will not have it! I have had a conversation with Joan Harris over the phone and she talked me through some techniques too slowly get Grits to interact with other people. We just have to be patient and provide him with lots of treats! I love him to pieces and he is always in the mood to play and always eager to go on long walks. His 3rd birthday is coming up (June 2nd) and I'm planning to spoil him with lots of little toys and treats. Overall, he's been a great dog and we're very happy with him.
