Darcy would love to meet you! She would love to find a home with an experienced owner and children 15+ where she is the only pet. Stop by our Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave., in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, today.
On the hunt for a great running buddy? Meet Darcy, an athletic and active girl who would love to accompany you on your morning jog! Originally relinquished to Chicago Animal Care and Control by her previous owner, PAWS saw Darcy’s potential for greatness and saved her from an uncertain fate. Upon arrival at the PAWS’ medical center Darcy tested positive for Canine Influenza Virus and was sent into foster care to undergo treatment. While Darcy was a bit quiet when she first arrived at her foster home, it didn’t take long for her to get comfortable and her true personality started to shine! Her foster family described her as being a puppy at heart who absolutely loves to play fetch and tug of war with any toy she can get her paws on. She loves to explore and when they day is over and it’s time for a nap, her favorite place to be is right by your side.
Now that she is fully recovered Darcy has the chance to find the perfect family who will spoil her with the love and affection she deserves. She is looking for a home without young children and an experienced adopter who is committed to continuing her training. Since she does not like to share her food or toys, Darcy would love to be on the receiving end of all your attention as the only pet in the home. Think Darcy is the perfect dog for you? Come and visit her and find out!
