Dale is one of our adoptable dogs that is participating in our A Chance to Bloom adoption event! He would do best in a quiet, experienced home with family members 15+, continued training, and no cats.
On Saturday, March 23rd from 11-6 we will waiving adoption fees for all adult dogs (7 months or over). The $100 training deposit still applies.
Dale is currently spending time in a foster home. For more information on how to meet or adopt this dog, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dale is a 7 month old, introverted WWE champion masquerading as a Shepherd puppy. He loves interactive playtime - his favorite activities include fetch, investigating frozen Kong toys, and diving into a feisty round of chase. When it comes to making four-legged friends, Dale is still learning dog body language and appropriate play, so he would do best with playful, tolerant dogs who are at least his size. But don’t let his rough-and-tumble persona fool you — this young man can be hesitant around strangers, new or busy environments, and loud noises. He needs slow introductions using lots of treats, but once he knows and trusts you, you’ll see that he is a committed snuggler who prefers to be the little spoon through these chilly Chicago nights.
An experienced, active family where all members are at least fifteen years old and who have time for obedience training would be perfect to help Dale build confidence and take advantage of his puppy enthusiasm. If you think you can be the big spoon Dale has been looking for, please stop by the Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center at 1997 North Clybourn Ave., in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood today.
All PAWS Chicago dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have up-to-date on shots based on age and arrival date.
