Cranberry Crisp's Story
Cranberry Crisp is a handsome hound looking for a home! Once you get past his dazzling good looks, you’ll see he has a pretty great personality as well. Cranberry Crisp has a lot of the typical hound qualities (headstrong, energetic, easily distracted) but he also has shown us that he is a very smart boy who catches on to obedience quickly and is willing to work, especially for something delicious. He would be a great candidate for activities like nose work where he can use his hound nose to sniff out hidden treats.
Cranberry Crisp spent some time in a foster home and we learned that he seems to have mastered crate training and house training. Since he can be a bit jumpy, we think he would do well in a home with children 15 and older. Active and strong, Cranberry Crisp is looking for an active owner to work on training with him. He would be highly successful in a home where he has a lot of access to space to run and play, such as a home in the suburbs or with a backyard. He is a big goofy boy who can’t wait to meet you and show off all that he has been learning.
