Chico's Story

Keep it simple that is Chico’s motto! This adorable senior is a pro at leading a simple life! He is up for short strolls outside where he can take his time and sniff the flowers! Chico loves to curl up in a little doggy bed for a good snooze! If your lap is available, he has no objections to taking his nap there especially is you are willing to give some back scratches and belly rubs as he dozes off!  Before he drifts off into a deep slumber, he will wag his tiny tail to let you know just how much he loves it!  He is teeny tiny and very easy going and would probably be happy to accompany you wherever you go. He spent some time in a couple foster homes and all of his foster parents agree that Chico is super easy going, laid back, and sweet!  They noted he enjoys naps all around the house!  He also had canine friends in foster and has shared his room with dogs here at PAWS, so he might not mind a super calm doggy friend in his forever home!

Chico has his paws crossed for a calm, quiet home with an experienced owner and without young children. Sudden movements can startle him a bit, so he hopes for a forever family who can take things slow with him.  When he is comfortable, this pocket- sized cutie adores getting his back scratched and his tummy rubbed! You certainly won’t mind at all, he has the softest fur! Some short walks outside to take in a bit of nature, a few cozy dogs beds for snoozing and a spot on your lap for cuddles and Chico would be in doggy paradise!  Pretty simple, right? If you love the simple life too, stop by the Lincoln Park Adoption Center and meet Chico today!
