Go Cubs Go! Addison is ready for baseball season to begin and hopes her favorite team, the Chicago Cubs, will make it all the way to the World Series this year! She is a gorgeous little lady who is hoping to spend her days curled up on the couch next to her people and watching a good ole baseball game! Addison originally arrived here at PAWS when she was a young pup and was quickly adopted into a home. After spending a year in the home, she was returned to us when her family realized she was not a good fit for their household. Addison is fearful of strangers and it has taken her a bit of time to warm up to life here at PAWS, but with tons of TLC and lots of belly rubs, we are seeing her true personality come out more and more! Due to her fear and anxiety, Addison would do best with a patient and experienced adopter who will be able to give her all the time she needs to warm up to her new environment. She can also be apprehensive with guests coming into the home, so she would do best with very slow introductions that include lots of treats and telling her you’re a big Cubs fan! She’ll be yours forever if you love the Cubs as much as she does! Here at the Adoption Center, Addison enjoys spending quality time with her roommate with whom she can play and take walks! Oftentimes you’ll see them wrestling or playing tug-of-war together while passing by! It is surely a sight to be seen!
Addison is searching for an experienced, adults-only household where she can enjoy playtime and soaking up as much love and affection as she possibly can! Since she is fearful and timid of new environments and new people, she would do best in a quiet home where she can have her own safe space she can retreat to whenever the world gets a little too scary! She would prefer to be in a home with a yard or in a quiet neighborhood without too much traffic, so that she can enjoy her time outdoors to the fullest since she can be weary of bicycles and skateboards when out on walks. She is extremely smart and has already mastered a few basic commands! She is also housebroken and does very well in a crate! She would love to show you what a good girl she is! This pretty lady would love to find a family who will enjoy lots of playtime with her, give her tons of yummy treats, and will take her out to the ball game! She is ready to root, root, root for her home team right by her family’s side! If you’re completely mesmerized by Addison’s beauty and you can relate to her love for the Cubs, then stop on by the Lincoln Park Adoption Center and meet her today! She just may be the perfect dog for you!
