Rangoon's Story

Feeling a little crabby? Let Rangoon help melt all that stress away with her sweet disposition!  Rangoon is a beautiful, shy kitty who would love to find a ‘furever’ home.  Because she was not adjusting well to life at the Adoption Center, she recently spent some time in a foster home where she could let down her guard and relax a bit.  Rangoon’s foster parents tell us that although she is very shy, she is also quite affectionate and loves to stay close to her human friends. She’s also much more playful than she lets on, and can often be found chasing her tail!

Rangoon gets nervous in new situations and will need time to adjust to her ‘purrrmanent’ home. She would do best in quiet home without young children who may frighten her. However, her foster parents tell us that she is a very well-behaved kitty who doesn’t jump on counters or scratch furniture… sounds pretty ‘purrrfect’ to us!  Rangoon also has a hearty appetite and likes wet food with gravy…. and it goes without saying she’s always in for Chinese delivery! So if you’re looking for someone to keep you company when you order in, why not make Rangoon a part of your family? We know that with a little time and patience, she will make a wonderful addition to your home!

  • Did someone say ‘treat’? I’ll take them all!
  • I’m a people person!
  • I need an experienced adopter.
  • I'd love a patient adopter who will allow me to acclimate at my own pace.

Dislikes

  • I need a little extra time to warm up to people I don’t know
  • I prefer quiet environments that aren’t crowded
  • I’d love to find an adults-only home
