Stop by our Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center at 1997 N. Clybourn Ave., in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Say hello to Pete! This gorgeous boy came to PAWS Chicago after his original owner passed away and the adopter's family put him and the rest of the household cats on the street. A wonderfully kind woman rescued him and brought him to PAWS to give him a second chance to find a forever home! Pete is also FIV positive, which is a virus that depresses the immune system and hinders a cat’s ability to protect himself against other infections. Due to this, Pete would need to go to a home with another FIV positive cat or where he will be the only feline in the home. He has surely been through a lot in his short life, which has understandably left him scared and timid of new environments and strangers. Sweet Pete just wants to find someone who will love him completely and spoil him until the end of time!
Pete is hoping to find a quiet, adults-only home with a patient and experienced owner who will work on building trust with him and allow him to become comfortable at his own pace. Once he adjusts and acclimates to his new environment, Pete is bound to develop into a wonderful feline companion who will solicit affection and hunt, jump, and play the way a cat is meant to! He would love to find a family who will help him to build his confidence in the future and will adore this shy kitty for who he is. Pete’s gorgeous orange coat and sweet green eyes are enough to tug at your heart strings and make you fall in love with him as soon as you see him! He is currently enjoying time in a foster home, so please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more on how you can meet this handsome boy!
