Hello, I'm Padme
Has come a long way since adoption day.
Padme's Story
She is still a little skittish but has come a long way since adoption day. She loves these little stuffed mouse toys I bought for her, and has been increasingly active and playful each day. She also has a big appetite! I took is slow introducing her to my other cat Rosie, but right from the start Padme immediately wanted to be friends with her. For the first couple of days Rosie mostly just hissed when I had them together and kept her distance. But now, Padme follows Rosie around everywhere and they often play. Rosie has also taken to grooming Padme frequently. Every so often Rosie gets a little too rough while playing and Padme makes it known with a high pitched meow. After which Rosie immediately stops playing and switches to grooming Padme. But for the most part they play constantly without that happening. One funny thing is that my other cat Rosie only drinks water from my sink. And while Padme initially was drinking from a bowl, it appears that Rosie taught her to drink from the sink as well. Yesterday for the first time I found her up on the sink drinking. I keep in at barely a drip all the time for Rosie, and it seems Padme has decided now that she likes it more than from the water bowl as well.
