If you’ve been looking for a beautiful kitty who will leave a lasting impression, Nola is the girl for you! This sweet and petite lady was originally found as a stray and brought to PAWS to help find her the home she’s always wished for. When she was first brought in, our vets immediately noticed that she had a fracture in her tail. Our medical team realized the best thing for Nola would be to amputate her tail. Nola’s long-hair, short-tail combo is quite the look! She’s truly a unique kitty! After her surgery, she spent some time recovering in a loving foster home where she played with her toys (especially before bed time!) and showed her affection through lots of leg rubs. She also loves looking out windows and watching bird videos on YouTube! Now, sweet little Nola is waiting for her forever home at our Adoption Center. Nola would make a terrific companion for the right adopter. Could you be the perfect human for this special kitty?
Nola can get overstimulated, especially when pet too much, likely because of her tail amputation, so she would do best in an adults-only home. She’ll need someone who understands her sensitivity and will give her, her space when she needs it. Nola is quite an independent girl and loves having her people all to herself. She would do best as the only pet in the home. Nola prefers a quiet environment and would absolutely love an experienced, patient owner who can help her adjust to a loving post-shelter, post-surgery life! This young girl has been though a lot in her short two years, but with the right family, we know Nola will be livin’ the dream as the happiest kitty on the block! Nola is such a special girl and full of character. You’ll absolutely fall in love with this pretty kitty the moment you lay eyes on her! Her whiskers go on for miles, and her sweet little face will melt your heart. Come in and meet this special girl today at the Lincoln Park Adoption Center! She’s ready for a forever home!
