Laffy Taffy's Story
In the mood for something sweet? Allow us to introduce you to Laffy Taffy! This handsome grey kitty was rescued from a hoarding situation earlier this fall, and as a result, is a bit undersocialized and can be fearful in new situations. However, he recently spent five weeks in a foster home where he was able to let his guard down and receive some extra socialization from humans, and boy what a difference it made! Laffy Taffy hid for the first few weeks of his foster stay, but slowly began to warm up with the help of the resident kitty. As Laffy Taffy began to come out of his shell, this shy guy revealed that he’s really a full-fledged lap cat! Who knew?!
Before long, Laffy Taffy was snuggling and cuddling with his foster dad every day, and when he isn’t on lap-warming duty, Laffy Taffy also enjoys playing with wand toys. He enjoys the company of other cats and was respectful and submissive to the resident cat in his foster home. While Laffy Taffy would likely be fine as an only pet, he would do very well with a feline friend in his furever home to give him confidence and companionship. Because of his fearful nature, Laffy Taffy can get startled easily, and would prefer a quiet home without young children. Although he can be very reserved at the adoption center, once you get to know him, we think you’ll go bananas for Laffy Taffy! Can you be the one to give him a chance?
