If you are looking for a sweet, playful, and gentle kitty to welcome into your home, then Kiwi is your boy! This handsome gentleman was previously adopted from us and brought back after spending a few months in the home when his family realized he was not a good fit for their household. Kiwi is on the shy side, so we found a terrific foster home for him to build his confidence and trust in his human friends! He adjusted very well to life in his foster home. “He is an incredibly gentle cat,” his foster mom reports. “Kiwi had perfect manners from the start.” Playtime is one of Kiwi’s favorite activities. Kiwi couldn’t get enough of his feather wand and laser pointer in his foster home! He also could often be found playing with his catnip fishes, chasing strings, or hanging out on his cat tree. This cute boy began exploring his foster home rather quickly. Now that he’s had a taste of life outside the shelter, he can’t wait for a forever home of his own with a patient and kind adopter!
“Kiwi is a little gem,” his foster tells us. If it weren’t for allergies, they said they’d keep him themselves! “He is a sweet guy whose story is just beginning.” Maybe the next chapter is with you! Kiwi would do best in a quiet, adults-only home with a patient owner who can give cute Kiwi the time he needs to come out of his shell in his new home at his own pace. He’d benefit from lots of structured play to build more confidence, establish trust, and form a bond with you. Kiwi often surprised his foster family with each step of progress he made. This adorable boy is ready for a loving family of his own. His foster has good advice: “Have patience, offer food and playtime, and let Kiwi come to you. You’ll become friends!” Come in and meet sweet Kiwi today! Maybe you’ll hit it off and you’ll take him home with you!
