Hans's Story

Thanks for such a great cat! He’s getting along super well in our house, and loves playing with his new laser pointer and lots of dangly toys. We changed Azuko’s name to Hans but we usually call him Hansi. He has been getting over a little bit of a cold since we picked him up, but the vet said he’d be back in shape pretty soon; and he’s been getting much more energetic over the past few days. His favorite activities include playing and sleeping on chairs, the couch, and watching out the window at the lake. Since we got his laser pointer, he’s been having a grand time rocketing around the apartment. He’s been really good about staying off countertops, and likes eating his wet food at night and dry food in the morning. After clipping his nails the other day, we also noticed he’s a polydactyl cat. We love playing and petting and cuddling with Hansi. Playing with him and the laser pointer has also been really nice for encouraging using different places for sleeping and for guiding him his scratching post. He’s been a very chill cat.
