Cherry Pie's Story
Have you ever seen a cat more gorgeous than Cherry Pie? I doubt you have! Cherry Pie is one handsome boy who wants nothing more than to find a quiet home where he can kick back and relax and enjoy all that life has to offer! Sweet Cherry Pie came to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control, where he was rescued from a hoarding situation. Needless to say, this bashful little guy has had a tough time adjusting to life here at PAWS. He is slow to trusting those around him and we are doing our best to show him that the world isn’t so scary after all! Cherry Pie hopes he can find an experienced adopter who will be patient with him and give him the time he needs to come out of his shell. Once he becomes comfortable with his surroundings, he is sure to blossom into the sweet and loving boy we all know he can be!
Cherry Pie is searching for a quiet, adults-only home where he can enjoy basking in the sunshine, relaxing in a comfy nook, and exploring everything that life has to offer! He recently spent some much-needed time in a foster home, where it didn’t take him long to come out of his hiding spot to journey throughout the house. Cherry Pie settled into their home fairly easily and soon enough began soliciting affection from his loving foster mom! He has also been doing very well with his kitty roommates here at PAWS and would likely do well in a home with another calm and appropriate cat in the home. Cherry Pie also enjoyed eating tons of wet food in his foster home and is a big fan of fish flavored foods! He would love to receive lots of yummy treats and pate in his forever home! Cherry Pie has so much love to give and is sure to make a wonderful kitty companion for the lucky family who adopts him. If you’re willing to open your heart and home to this charming little gentleman, then come in and meet him today!
