Beatrix's Story

We dare you to try to find a prettier kitty than beautiful Beatrix! This girl’s gorgeous green eyes will mesmerize you, and she has such a stunning white coat with cute gray markings. Beatrix originally arrived at PAWS from Chicago Animal Care and Control, but she wasn’t a big fan of the stresses that come with shelter life. It was clear she wanted to interact with the volunteers and potential adopters coming to visit her, but she was overwhelmed with so many people and cats around her. Luckily, one of PAWS’ loving fosters took her in for a while to give her a break from shelter life, and Beatrix was able to show her true personality! Turns out, this little lady is actually quite playful. Her favorite toys were jingly balls, toy mice, and the laser pointer. Beatrix also enjoyed cuddling with her foster mom on the couch, and even cozied up on her lap at times!  She also loved to gaze out of sunny windows—stalking the pigeons was one of her favorite activities in her foster home!

Beatrix is a terrific cat who just needs the right person to love her. She’s friendly and sociable once she’s had time to adjust to her new surroundings. Beatrix is the type of kitty that will let you know when she wants to be cuddled. She’d also benefit from lots of interactive play with wand toys and puzzle toys! She’s an independent and calm kitty that would do best in an adults-only home with an experienced and patient owner who will help her to come out of her shell. Do you think beautiful Beatrix is the right cat for you? Come into the Lincoln Park Adoption Center today to meet this playful girl. Beatrix is ready for her forever home. Maybe it’s yours!
