Adela's Story

If you’ve been looking for a sweet, beautiful, mellow young girl, meet Adela! This gorgeous 1-year-old tortie kitty was originally found as a stray and brought to PAWS to help her find the purrfect forever home. She was very shy and reserved during her time here at the Adoption Center, so now she’s unwinding in a loving foster home and slowly but surely coming out of her shell!  After spending a couple of weeks adjusting to her new environment, Adela soon began to follow her foster mom everywhere around the house!  She also has made a new friend in the resident cat and has taken quite a liking to her. Her foster mom says, “Adela is a sweetheart who clearly wants company and to engage with people and animals. She now has to sleep with me every night!” This little lady also loves her wand toys and squeaky toys. Adela also has a gorgeous coat and beautiful eyes that will make you want to take her home with you as soon as you see her! We know with the right person, she’ll be wonderfully happy in her forever home! Does she sound like the cat for you?

Adela would do best with an experienced, patient owner who can give her a little time to get used to her new surroundings. She’d also do best in a home with adults-only so she can be as comfortable as possible! She absolutely adores her foster mom, and we know she’ll be a great companion for the lucky family who adopts her! She’d even love having another kitty friend to play with in her forever home!  Can you give Adela the time she needs to adjust to a new, loving home? All she needs is lots of TLC, a cozy bed to snuggle up next to you, some fun toys, and a kitty scratching post, and she’ll be all set! Playful Adela would love to find her forever home.
