Kuzko's Story
Sometimes, you just need a feline friend that is older, wiser, and has so much to bring to the table. Kuzko here is an 8-year-old kitty that is the total package. While he can be independent, he would absolutely adore some love and affection from you from time to time! With some patience, Kuzko opens up more, and will just be happy to be your best pal.
Kuzko is positive for FeLV and FIV. This means that Kuzko has a suppressed immune system and will need to go to the vet for regular checkups. However, he doesn't let this stop him from being the sweetest kitty who loves getting pets and attention.
Are you Kuzko's new family? If you're looking for an independent and loving kitty to have by your side, then maybe this adorable feline is just for you.
Meet Kuzko
Join us for our Spring Adopt-A-Thon from May 3rd-11th at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center (1997 N. Clybourn Ave)! We will be extending our hours and adding appointments to help many homeless pets find their families this spring. All animals with the "Spring AAT" banner will be at our adoption center ready to meet you! Please note that the adoption fee still applies.
If you are interested in adopting this pet, there are a few steps you must complete before scheduling an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center:
- Please start by taking our ComPETibility Quiz to make sure they are a good fit for your home.
- After completing your ComPETibility Quiz, you will be emailed a link to complete your Adoption Application.
- Finally, schedule an appointment at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center! During your appointment, you will be able to meet all currently-adoptable animals at our Lincoln Park Adoption Center.
Why Adopt?
Adoption is one of the best ways to save a life. Only a few thousand more adoptions each year in Chicago, a city of millions of people, and we will be a No Kill community! You can make a real difference.
At PAWS Chicago, we keep working to grow our operations to save more homeless pets. It's how we've gone from saving a few dozen to 6,000 pets a year. But it is our adopters who make the real magic happen by bringing these loving pets home. Adopt a pet and spread the word!
First Time Fostering? Learn More
Our foster families enable us to take in more pets at risk. Some require a quiet place to heal from illness or injury; small puppies and kittens need a nurturing place to grow before they are able to be spayed or neutered and adopted; and others just need socialization and a break from the activity of Adoption Center living. Become a foster parent and help homeless pets in need!
