What motivated you to join the PAWS Chicago
Marathon team? I've always wanted to
run for a cause. Since I adopted my pooch from PAWS, I knew what a great
organization it was, and I wanted to support them!Is this your first marathon?
3rd- all Chicago
On mile 20, what will you think of to keep
going? I'm trying to run certain miles in honor of friends' pets
(mile 16, 17...). I'll probably try to think of funny things Norman (my dog)
does to distract me.
What obstacles/fears/challenges are you
overcoming by running the marathon? I love the feeling of
empowerment distance running gives me. Iwant to be able to translate this to
other aspects of my life.
Why PAWS Chicago? I think
PAWS has done an amazing job in the name of animal shelters. When I was looking
for a dog there, I felt assured that each one would find a loving home. You can
tell the animals are well cared for and loved. Also, in honor of Norman.
