What motivated you to join the PAWS Chicago
Marathon team? I wanted to support a charity team - I need the
extra motivation to stick to training.Is this your first marathon?

On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
The beer awaiting me at the finish line.
What obstacles/fears/challenges are you overcoming
by running the marathon? Procrastination - you can't put off
marathon training if you want to be able to finish the race.
Why PAWS Chicago? I volunteered
at the old cat adoption center while I was in law school
and served as a foster mom, and one of my three cats is a PAWS adoptee. I
support PAWS' mission to move toward a no-kill Chicago. My dog, Margie (on the
right in the picture) and one of my parents' dogs, Cady (in the middle in the
picture), are both adopted from a lab rescue group
in Ohio, and probably would have been put to sleep in a traditional shelter due
to health/behavior problems.
