What motivated you to join the PAWS Chicago
Marathon team? I was motivated by my dog Lyla who is a
PAWS alumni. I love running with her along the lakefront and at the beach. She
always keeps me motivated to be active and has been the best thing that has ever
happened to me.Is this your first marathon?
This will be my 8th marathon and by far the most important ever.
On mile 20, what will you think of to keep going?
On Mile 20. I will be thinking Do it for her.
What obstacles/fears/challenges are you overcoming
by running the marathon? My biggest fear is making sure I
see my friends and family in the crowd during the run.
Why PAWS Chicago? There are two
things I really love, running and my dog. It is like peanut butter and
chocolate, a perfect combination. I want to give back to the organization that
gave me a wonderful friend.
